It has the original manufacturer's decal on the inside of the case that reads: Invented and patented by Eli Terry, manufactured and sold by Seth Thomas, Plymouth Conn; The dial is original, and looks very good. The half columns are gloss black, and are excellent. The wood case looks like walnut, with absolutely no chips or dents, in excellent condition. It has a large bell for the strike on the hour.
