THIS SETH THOMAS MANTEL WAS MADE IN BRISTOL, CONN. THE MODEL OF THIS FANCY MANTEL IS “DENTOR”. THE CLOCK DIAL IS 5” WITH A FANCY BRASS BEZEL RING. THE WOOD CASE IS MAGNIFICENT OAK. A VIEW OF THE TOP OF THE CASE SHOWS A WONDERFUL OAK RING DESIGN. IT HAS ORNATE BRASS CLAW FEET. THE FRONT IS DECORATED WITH 6 BRASS COLUMNS THAT SET OFF THIS WONDERFUL ANTIQUE CLOCK. NOW TO THE CLOCK ITSELF! THE MOVEMENT IS SIGNED SETH THOMAS. IT IS AN EIGHT DAY TIME AND STRIKE. THE STRIKE IS ON THE HOUR WITH A LOW TONE GONG WHICH SOUNDS VERY MUCH LIKE A GRANDFATHER CLOCK TONE. DATED 1874 Dimensions: 32”H 18½”W. 8 day time & strike on a wire gong on the hour. 7-1/2” Metal dial is in great condition. The middle tablet is an etched gold design in great condition. The bottom table is also gold etched in good condition. This clock has been restored at some time. The wood case of this clock is Rosewood, and has been restored and refinished. BRASS FEET. HEIGHT: 13-1/4”, BASE: 8-1/2”. IT IS AN
EIGHT DAY, HOUR AND HALF HOUR STRIKE SOUNDING
A CATHEDRAL-LIKE TONE ON A GONG.
THE DIAL IS WHITE PORCELAIN, WITH NUMERALS IN
SCRIPT. THE DIAL IS BLEMISH FREE. FRENCH SASH HAS CONVEX BEVELED GLASS. THE WOOD CASE HAS BEEN

THE LOWER CASE HAS A FANCY DESIGN WHICH ADDS TO THE BEAUTY OF THIS CLOCK. THE PENDULUM IS ORIGINAL. BRASS BUTTONS SERVE AS THE CLOCK’S SUPPORTS. THE DIAL IS 4 ½” AND IS ALL ORIGINAL. Wood is Oak and is in excellent condition. Large Door is beveled at the dial glass. Bottom of case is an excess door for installing the pendulum Bob, and making slow and fast adjustments on the bob. This clock has been serviced and keeps perfect time. Comes with a brass key. This is a beautiful Seth Thomas “Round Band” Model. This unique clock was made at the Seth Thomas clock plant in Plymouth Hollow, Conn. USA. It is a 30 Hour, Time and strike on the Hour with a wire gong. Height- 17” Width-10 ¾”. Has a beautiful Rosewood case that is perfect, no chips or scratches. Dial is a colorful 5” metal under paper. Has the original Seth Thomas Decal inside the case. The lower door glass has a very colorful, Gold’s, Greens and reds, with black background. No flaking at all on this colorful design. This clock has been serviced by us and keep's perfect time. SINCE 1911 THIS CLOCK HAS BEEN SHELTERED AND PROTECTED. ITS WOOD CASE: MAHOGANY WITH MARQUETERIE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ITS 5” PORCELAIN DIAL IS BLEMISH FREE WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. IT’S JUST A PLEASURE TO BEHOLD.
